Our Founder | Sleep Sorceress, Rosalee Lahaie Hera

Hey there, I’m Rosalee Lahaie Hera, your Certified Sleep Consultant, specializing in little ones aged 0-6+. I want us to take a moment and cozy up over coffee (or tea) to chat about why I’m your go-to sleep sorceress.

First things first: I’ve been in your (sleep-deprived) shoes. My firstborn, Sofia, was like a tiny alarm clock, waking up every hour. That meant I often felt like I was stuck in a never-ending mom marathon. I sought help, read everything I could, and helped Sofia to become the superstar sleeper she continues to be to this day. As a result, my sleep science spark was lit! Undeniably, by the time my second munchkin came along, I was ready to transform us immediately into our well-rested dream team!

Prior to entering the dark arts of sleep science, I was basically a bit of a healthcare policy wonk. With an MBA in Health Care Management from DeGroote School of Business and a Certified Health Executive badge, I managed a $700 million budget for the Ontario government. I also hold a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Toronto. Thus, in case you were wondering: yes, I can geek out on research studies with the best of them.

Ok. That was the past. Let’s fast forward to today. I am Certified in Pediatric and Newborn Sleep Consulting, alongside Potty Training Consulting, and part of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants. Most importantly, having been a Certified Sleep Consultant for over seven years, I am happy to say that I’ve sprinkled my sleep magic over thousands of families. That’s earned me more than 100 sparkling 5-star Google reviews! So, if it’s sleep-related, trust me, I’ve seen it all.

Now here’s where it gets fun – melting my personal and professional experiences into my cauldron to develop my sleep consulting style. I emphatically mix frothy amounts of empathy, compassion and a gentle, caring touch. Then add a healthy dash of analytics in search of a credible scientific evidence base. My approach? Without cliché I can say that it’s as unique as your family, all backed by the most current and best sleep science. Check out my LinkedIn profile in case you want to learn any more about my background.

Alongside running Baby Sleep Love, I obviously love to promote the development of the Sleep Consulting industry. I co-authored the book It’s Time To Sleep with Dr. Dina Kulik, pediatrician extraordinaire, weaving our expertise into a guide for parents seeking peaceful nights. Additionally, I am the Co-Founder of The Parent Playbook, alongside Dr. Dina Kulik, a program for caregivers. There we specifically focus on four pillars of parenting: sleep, feeding, behavior, and health. Even more, I am part of the pediatric allied health team at KidCrew Pediatric Medical Clinic. On the team I provide access to an OHIP-covered sleep consultation free of charge for Ontario residents.

At QC Wellness Studies, I built and subsequently continue to teach a sleep consulting curriculum that enables students to become newly Certified Sleep Consultants. Additionally, I am a Pediatric Sleep Consultant with Huckleberry Labs. That’s a tech company that combines Finally, I also mentor and advise other Certified Sleep Consultants in the industry on any and all elements of running their business at Sleep Coach School, a sibling organization to Baby Sleep Love.

So, what do you say? Let’s see if we match and embark on this sleep adventure together. Schedule a call to find out and finally get your family some of those magical Zzzz.

Nicole Reason

Science-Based Certified Sleep Consultant, Courtlynne Weaver-Thomas

Hi there! I’m Courtlynne, wearing two hats as a Registered Social Worker and Certified Infant Sleep Consultant. Let me tell you, I’m especially jazzed about the profound connection between sleep and mental health. I’ve witnessed how the lack of sleep can play tricks on your head and heart, explicitly leaving you stuck in a never-ending stress-fest.

In both my professional journey and personal adventures, I’ve immersed myself in the tales of new parents wrestling with the sleep-deprivation dragon. It’s not just a challenge; it seeps into every corner of their daily existence, leaving them submerged in overwhelm, frustration, stress, and even waltzing with anxiety and depression.

Back in my days as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist at LifeWorks, I played the role of the sleep whisperer, guiding individuals through the labyrinth of insomnia. My mission? To reshape their perspectives on sleep, design enchanting sleep routines, and demonstrate that sleep can be a soothing, stress-free experience, free from nail-biting and anxiety.

But here’s the twist: I also get how crucial sleep is for the littlest members of the family. Thanks to the sage wisdom of Rosalee, I dove headfirst into the science behind infant sleep patterns. I learned the secret sauce to boost those tiny tots’ sleep quality and quantity and how to tailor my services to fit each family and kiddo like a cozy sleep onesie.

My toolkit? It’s all about empathy, personalization, and science-backed magic to gift both infants and their caregivers the sweetest dreams.

My endgame? To help families reclaim their mental health and well-being, one blissful night’s sleep at a time. Ready to “hit play” on this snooze-filled adventure with me?

Hey there, I’m Nicole, your friendly neighborhood social worker and sleep enthusiast!

Yup, that’s me, a master’s level social worker (RSW) and a proud graduate of the University of Windsor.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve worn many hats and floated through various settings, all with one mission: supporting families like yours.

From counseling to community outreach, I’ve been there, done that, and still can’t get enough of it!

In my latest adventure, I’ve been diving deep into the world of therapy, specializing in helping parents navigate the wild rollercoaster ride of mental health and transitioning to parenthood.

Let me tell you, it’s been quite the journey – filled with laughter, tears, and lots of baby snuggles.

But here’s the kicker – as a sleep aficionado, I’ve seen firsthand how lack of sleep can turn even the cheeriest of households into a circus (and not the fun kind).

That’s why I’m on a mission to ensure that everyone in your family is getting the rest they deserve for optimal mental health and well-being!

So, let’s embark on this adventure together, shall we? I’m here to sprinkle a little magic dust on your sleepless nights and help you navigate the maze of parenthood with a smile on your face (and maybe a little less caffeine in your cup).

Let’s snooze our way to serenity!
